Proposal:
The Stories tab can seem fairly ambiguous, and for new readers I can imagine it could be confusing what its purpose is and how to interact with that. For that reason, and to prevent problems with it in the future, I think we should establish some more clear guidelines around it.
1) Getting added to the bar.
We should establish clear guidelines for what will be added to the bar, and put them somewhere in the orientation. My off the top of the head suggestion would be one continuous story/shared setting/recurring character/etc by a single author with 4 or more entries and a hub page, or the same by 2+ authors with 8 entires and a hub.
2) Adding a stories "hub" page
We should make a page similar to the canons page on SCP, with a brief description of what it is and then links to every story. This should be the first entry under the "stories" tab, so people can quickly get information.
3) Clarifying whether stories are "open" or "closed"
Something like Aframos is a "closed" story, a single work by Mann, that, as far as I'm aware, no one else is allowed to add on to. Some stuff, like Elrich, invites free collaboration. At the top of the hub for each story we should make clear who's allowed to edit it, how (do they need permission from the hub's creator?) and anything else in this vein that might be pertinent.
4) Stop calling them stories
"Stories" is generic and could lead to confusion (wait, are the other entries on the site NOT stories?). My suggestion would be to call them "volumes" or "collections" to emphasize the multi-entry nature of them.
